About NAWIC Maine
NAWIC was formed in 1955 with the core purpose of enhancing the success of women in the construction industry. In 1979 Maine Chapter 276 was formed with 34 members, bringing that purpose to Maine.
There are three core values that guide NAWIC and are shared by the Maine Chapter:
• Believe in ourselves as women
• Persevere with the strength of our convictions
• Dare to move into new horizons
Today there are two chapters in the state, covering Kittery to Presque Isle with the Maine Chapter serving central and southern Maine.
If you are interested in joining our chapter, please go to the Contact Us section and send us some information about you and we will be in touch.
